Sancho Panza won’t be at The Glade Festival 2009

I finally got someone at The Glade to confirm my fears that Sancho Panza won’t be at the Glade Festival this year. I feel really sad about it, my last 5 years at the festival has been doing the lighting for them, and I loved every minute of it.

I don’t know what I will be doing this year, but I am sure I will be involved somewhere, probably the Origin stage.

Server Migration

The web server I use has now been migrated to a data centre in the UK and the DNS has finally updated. I had some issues over the weekend where the site wasn’t available, but its all good now.

Gigs seem to be like buses for me

You don’t see one for ages, then 2 come along right next to each other! It is always like that for me, its just the way things are. And what’s more funny about this instance is that I was also asked to do lighting for another party and was already booked. I had to go with the one that got to me first.

So, this Saturday is Tranceformation in Glastonbury. Its from 8pm to midnight at the Assembly Rooms, which is just off the High Street. Its some breaks and psy-trance, with my fav DJ Jimjam. Fushion is doing the sound, so I am sharing his van.

The following Saturday is Poly~Sensual at the Lakota in Bristol. Its from 10pm to 6am, and I am helping ITSy BITSy Media. Loads of other sound systems will be there, its a great night.

If any of you are at either gig come and find me, its always nice to catch up with people.

Magic’s 10th Birthday

1st Magic Flyer

On the 23rd July 1999 I had a party at the Roundabout Pub, High Wycombe for my 24th Birthday. I was celebrating with a group of friends who are very dear to me. This party turned into many parties, where I met more people and DJs and sound systems, and have partied with them ever since.

This year, on July 24th,  is a chance to celebrate the last 10 years of partying. It is also a chance to celebrate my 34th Birthday, and Loo’s 26th Birthday.

Luckily its not the last Friday of the month, otherwise I would be begging the Tunnel Crew to let me have the pub, as they do the last Friday of the month.

DJs on the night will be Guy Garrett, Dark Angel and JimJam.
