If you have had anything to do with the club/party/dj scene in the last 20 odd years you will be fully aware of the Technics 1200/1210 turntables. Its been the market leader for years, they kept supplies low so the demand was always high, many DJs refused to use anything else. They just keep on working, they are solid and reliable, and have exactly the right features.
For the last few years rumours have been flying around of its demise, but nothing concrete ever appeared.
Gizmo, the owner of the leading tech site Skratchworx, has been trying to get the truth for a long time, and has now published an open letter in an attempt to get a response from Panasonic.
