As always its been a while since I last posted, thats due to me not actually doing much lighting this year, well, nothing worth blogging about.
This July I have 2 festivals, one weekend after another, its my busiest month of the year… especially with my wifes birthday near the end, and then mine 4 days later.
First up is Till The Cows Come Home 2008. This will be my third year with the Broken Disco boys and girls, and should be another fantastic year. Running from 10th July to 11th July, with live bands and DJs. DiscoPete will be joining me again, helping me keep the cables neat and tidy 🙂
The show will consist of:
4 x Martin Pro 218 Scanners
4 x Martin EFX700 Moon flowers
4 x Martin Punishers
4 x Chroma-Q Color Punch LED Washes
6 x PAR 64 Lanterns
1 x Martin Robocolor 3 (as a spot light)
1 x Antari X510 Smoke Machine
1 x Stairville 4 way DMX splitter
4 x 2m Truss
4 x Powerdrive Winch Stands
2 x Powerdrive Stands with t-bars
If all goes to plan I should be using a Jands Vista S3 controller with my laptop running the Vista software. Not done a big show with Vista yet, full report on my return. I will be bringing a Pulsar Masterpiece 108 as a backup desk.
Next up is The Glade, 18th,19th and 20thJuly. Once again I am doing the Sancho Panza stage. We (Fushion) will also be doing the Origin Stage and the Rabbit Hole. I always look forward to the Glade, as its my only exposure to house music, and I love the carnival atmosphere they create.
Kit list:
6 x Eurolite TS-150 Scanners
4 x Martin EFX600 Moonflowers
4 x Martin Punishers
4 x Geni 75w Strobes
4 x UV Cannons
4 x PAR 64 Lanterns
This will be controller with my Zero 88 Diablo, or maybe a Jands Vista controller, that really depends on how well I get on with it at the Cows festival.
I will blog each gig as soon as I can.
