Line-up confirmed for Magic’s 10th Birthday

magic-10th-birthday-poster

I am proud to announce the line-up for Magic’s 10th Birthday bash at the Roundabout Pub, High Wycombe on the 24th July.

Guy Garrett – a friend from my days at DMC, Guy has been DJing and remixing for 2 decades. One half of the Tidy Boys, Guy has been part of the club scene and helped shape it with countless releases and mixes. He will be playing an mix of old skool rave and hard dance/house.

Dark Angel – a great friend who helped get Magic up and running and played at most of them over the last 10 years. You can’t fault him when he plays, and is in my mind the greatest psy-trance DJ in the world… yes I am biassed, but he is bloody good! He is also a fantastic acid techno DJ too!

JimJam – promoter and resident DJ of The Awakening, Jim is a great friend with a massive heart and a smile to go with it. I have performed next to him (thats lighting not djing) and have always had a great connection. A fanastic psy-trance DJ who is pleased to play at Magic for the first time.

A flyer/poster is in production and will be posted soon.

On the 23rd July 1999 I had a party at the Roundabout Pub, High Wycombe for my 24th Birthday. I was celebrating with a group of friends who are very dear to me. This party turned into many parties, where I met more people and DJs and sound systems, and have partied with them ever since.

This year, on July 24th,  is a chance to celebrate the last 10 years of partying. It is also a chance to celebrate my 34th Birthday, and Loo’s 26th Birthday.

Luckily its not the last Friday of the month, otherwise I would be begging the Tunnel Crew to let me have the pub, as they do the last Friday of the month.

DJs on the night will be Guy Garrett, Dark Angel and JimJam.

Sorry for the delay in getting these up, you can see them on Facebook, and you don’t need to be a member.

A Successfull Magic

Happy New Year everyone, and thank you to everyone who made it down on the 21st for our Christmas Special. There lots of old faces and new, and everyone was having an excellent time.

Our DJs for the night performed wonderfully as always, Rob and Barclay did us proud. Seb Marx performed an awesome live set that kept the crowd from the moment he started. If you get a chance to see Seb play make sure you do, he is one to look out for!

I took some photos so will find somewhere for them to live. I have got to say I had lots of fun, and might do this again…thats if the sound problems get sorted. Luckily I had Julz (Fushion) provide a sound system that was perfectly engineered to not upset the neighbors.

Magic Photos

It was a fantastic night at the Hogs Head, we all had a great laugh, and here are the photos.
