We have made our ground floor balcony safer for Evie, so that she can go out under supervision without the risk of her running off out of our reach. We have put netting around it, mainly to stop the other cats from coming on and marking it. She can now make it her own and sit out in the sun with us.
Evie has started to pay more visits to the sofa in the evenings, taking it upon herself to jump up and sit with us for a while. She is still very nervous, and will jump down at the slightest movement, but she is making great progress, and we hope to have her sleeping on our laps within the next year.
