Cheers to everyone for a wicked night, it was a huge gamble for us going with the launch night for the venue, and yes we had our problems but I think all in all it went down rather well. My apologies to everyone for the early close, however without it a *serious* amount of money would of been lost and we couldn't afford to do it. As it stands several of the organisers have lost money and unfortunately no money was raised for the good causes. This was due to us not getting anywhere near the amount of people we expected and an increased production budget from last year. If you are interested in the figures we had 850 tickets sales, 350 people on the door and 350 crew / guest (approx), we were hoping for nearer 2000 + crew/guest.

As for the future the rumours have already started and PLUR will continue I'm sure, but I will be stepping down and handing the role onto someone else who I hope will care about it in the same way I do. I've always seen PLUR as a UMR party and I really hope it continues that way with fresh talent and new faces coming on board.
