Thank you very much for your kind donation of £506.53, which we received this week. We are delighted that we were chosen by a number of people at your party, please pass on our warmest wishes to all those involved.

As you may be aware Centrepoint provides housing, support, education and training for young people aged 16 -25 who are at risk because they do not have a safe place to stay. At present, we are increasingly alarmed by the numbers of young women who are being admitted to our emergency shelter for newly homeless people. Last year over half those admitted to our emergency shelter were women (55 per cent). Young women are especially vulnerable on the streets and your support will help us reach them before someone else does.

I have enclosed a copy of our newsletter, which highlights some success stories, proving that with the right support every young person has the potential to fulfil his or her dreams.
