Marcus played for us on NYE and started the night with a bang. He has been playing the DJ circuit for many years now and is fantastic!

Tim does his own night, Groove Tech, and is officialy the Ambassador of Tunes bringing you the best of Tech House

Syrah (Betties Blues)
Syrah will be doing the Chill Out Room as always, Glowball would not be the same without her

Mugsy
My good friend Mugsy will be joining Syrah in the Chill Out Room, it is his first time playing at Glowball and he is very excited

FritzFactor (Glowball)
Fritz, my Glowball partner, will be doing his usual dirty selection of Electro House, oh yes!

Jaxx (Glowball)
Jaxx is another of our Resident DJ’s and she is damn fine!! Proper rude girl!

3-Parts DJ (Thump)
Phil (3-Parts DJ) also does his own night in Reading, Thump, and will be playing for the first time at Glowball. Rude dirty breakbeat to be expected!

Arther Shillin
Gareth (Arther Shillin) is just great!! He will be briging us super fine Electro Swing that will make you wiggle good and proper

I always keep my eyes open for designs that inspire me, as I want to continue my Kirituhi design up my arm and onto my shoulder and chest. In my search I found a blog with the image to the left: http://andymatic.vox.com/library/photo/6a00c225203d4b8fdb00f48ce85e790003.html

What I really like about it is the way it spirals up into the shoulder, this is what I would like with mine. My only problem is that I currently have an Ohm tattoo on my chest, and a tribal tattoo on my shoulder that I really like. I am going to have a chat with Tony Unwin, the tattooist who did my Kirituhi sleeve, and see if he can come up with a design for me.

In the mean time I will keep looking, and keep getting inspired. If anyone fancies leaving links to other sites that feature some great inspiring Kirituhi tattoo designs, please do!

As you can imagine I am gutted, having worked with Glade for the last 6 years providing sound and light for various stages, its the high light of my year.

Not much more I can say about how gutted I am, its really not fair, but thats life!

Since then I have changed phones several times and no longer have the handy app. I have been resorting to using the calculator instead, which isn’t always the speedy way to get the job done. I have wanted an app for my Nokia 5800 for sometime, and decided it was time I sorted it out.

I came across this during my research: http://business.virgin.net/tom.baldwin/dmx_calculator2.html and have based much of the code for mine on it. The main problem with the above is that its not very mobile friendly, entering the number take a while as you need to go into the keyboard, I needed a touch screen friendly input. My solution was to have arrows above and below each digit which increases or decreases its value.

This is my solution: http://www.dooza.tv/dmx/, and still has more work to be done, but for version 0.1 I am happy with the way it works.

Future versions will have the dip switches toggle, allowing you to work out the address of a light. I will also make the dip switch reversible, as many lights are the other way around.

One really handy feature of DiscoPete’s app was that it turned on the LED flash light of the camera. This helped you see the dip switch when up a ladder in a dark club. I know I can do this with my Nokia 5800, as I already have an app that does this, I just need to work it out.

I also have an ohm on my my chest, it was the first one I had done many years ago. Mine was done by Woody when he was first starting out and was operating in the same shop that Paradise Tattoo now uses.

I have just taken over maintaining a site for a friend of a friend. The site is the portfolio for a pair of ceramic artists based in Hazlemere. Their creations are unique, I have not seen anything like it.

To take on the site I had to convert it from a purely image and frame based layout into a CSS positioned site. It looks almost identical, but should load a lot faster, be found by search engines, and be easily updated.

We (Fushion Sound System) will be there, hopefully doing the same as last year, and maybe more. Last year we did the Origin Stage (lighting) and the Interstella Circus tent (sound and lighting). I worked in the Circus tent and enjoyed the cabaret acts as well as the live music. I also provided some lights to the Psymusic tent, hopefully this year it will be bigger and need a fully managed lighting solution.
