The Correspondents In Leeds

You may have read previous posts about these guys after I had the pleasure of seeing them at Till The Cows Come Home and The Glade Festival. They have just played in Leeds, and I came across this excellent review/interview. I wish I had the writing skills that the author has!

Here it is: http://charliestewart.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/the-correspondents/

There is also a download at the bottom of the post, you should check it out and see what all the fuss is about.

Glowball XII Review

This time its not my review, its a review from Bracknell Forest Standard: http://www.getbracknell.co.uk/entertainment/clubs/s/2058481_mission_accomplished_glowball_xii_at_plug_n_play

I failed to take any photos, but I can assure you it really did look good. I had a few technical problems but they were overcome quickly enough.

There is only one thing that annoys me at Plug n Play, its the bar staff. Every time I put on lighting in there they complain that its either too bright or too flashy and is making them ill. Well excuse me! Your working in a night club, you get bright flashy lights, if you don’t like it, don’t work there! I hate being hassled by security, telling me to stop the white lights. Just cos your related, doesn’t mean I should stop creating an atmosphere for people to dance in. Lighting it just as important as the music, without it the club would look shite. End of rant.
